The Beginnings of Our Connection

This is the beginning of this website. But, it is not the beginning of life, of nature, and of humankind’s ability to connect.

I ponder things. I’ve always been that way. I’ve always had a philosophical heart, seeking to connect with something greater. For me, nature has always been a natural connection. I gravitated toward living beings ever since my childhood. Animals always gravitated toward me as well. I’m hoping that it’s because they picked up on my love toward them (rather than me smelling good).

In my reflections on life, I determined that people need to “connect.” It’s one of the great longings that tugs at our hearts…our minds…our souls. Some people connect with physical objects, or money above and beyond nearly anything else. Other folks connect with a select group of people. Some connect with animals and nature. Some connect with a sense of spirit that infuses the universe. Connection. Can you imagine going through life without feeling connected to ANYTHING? That simply wouldn’t make any sense.

So, here we are, connecting…Me and you… I may or may not know you in person. However, I am communicating with you. I hope that you will also communicate with me!

Now that we are at this starting point of PhotosByAlon.com, I’d love the opportunity to build something together…a connection with life itself and the living things that surround us in nature (especially the spectrum of life called, “birds”). If I can help you establish a deeper connection to nature, then I have reached one of my ultimate goals.
